KARAS Foundation (Knowledge for Academic Recognition & Advancement Society) is established for the holistic development of students in Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh. We provide scholarships and comprehensive educational support to underprivileged and meritorious learners, with a special focus on rural areas, girl child education, and differently-abled students.
Registered under the Society's Registration Act of 2001 with No. 47/2026 on 7th March, 2026, our foundation operates as a non-profit, secular, non-political, charitable society for public benefit.
Our target communities include tribal populations, backward classes, neglected and downtrodden communities in both rural and urban areas across Andhra Pradesh.
To create an inclusive, knowledge-driven Vizianagaram where no student's potential is lost to poverty, geography, gender, or disability — where meritorious and underprivileged learners alike receive scholarships, recognition, and the tools to advance through quality education, digital access, and skill-based opportunity.
To ensure equitable access to quality education through financial aid, learning infrastructure, digital tools, career guidance, and skill development, enabling every student to achieve academic recognition and advancement.
Talent is universal but opportunity is not. We believe every student — regardless of poverty, gender, geography, or disability — deserves equal access to knowledge, honest recognition for merit, and a real pathway to advancement. We see education not as charity, but as justice.
The purpose of KARAS Foundation is to advance equitable and inclusive education in Vizianagaram District by providing financial, academic, and infrastructural support to underprivileged and meritorious students, ensuring that no learner is denied opportunity due to poverty, gender, geography, or disability.
